Thomas H. "Harry" Camp

Thomas H. “Harry” Camp is committed to empowering property owners through the legal process and has devoted most of his career to the advancement private property rights. A native of Newnan, Georgia, Harry grew up on a family farm targeted by several for-profit companies exercising the state’s power of eminent domain. These personal experiences fostered Harry’s passion for legal issues related to the land and, in particular, those related to the ability of the government to take private property for public use. His keen interest in the subject first led him to work in Washington, D.C., on related policy issues and then to build a law practice centered on the defense of landowners against government takings.

In addition, Harry is experienced in general civil litigation, having handled matters involving contract disputes, banking and real estate litigation, business torts, white-collar investigations, and intellectual property disputes. Harry enjoys working closely with clients to tackle their legal issues head on through sound advice and by developing creative, principled, and lasting solutions.
